Noticeable blackheads:
how can we manage them?
This is siz.
We often glance in the mirror while washing, applying makeup or going about daily life.
Sometimes the blackheads on the nose suddenly stand out, like tiny strawberry seeds.
Once noticed, blackheads can be hard to ignore and difficult to conceal with makeup.
Today we explain what blackheads are and how to care for them in everyday life.

What are blackheads?
Blackhead
Sebum darkens as it oxidizes on exposure to air
Blackheads appear when excess sebum at the pore opening contacts air and oxidizes, becoming dark.
They are most noticeable in areas with more sebum production, commonly on the bridge and around the sides of the nose.
Without regular care, blackheads and pores may become more conspicuous, so consistent management is helpful.
Blackhead care starts with cleansing
Improving daily habits comes first when trying to reduce blackheads. Cleansing is the most basic step.
After going out, remove oil and debris from the skin's surface. Make a habit of cleansing before bed, even when tired.
1. Cleanse gently with lukewarm water
Aim to remove debris gently without irritating the skin.
First cleansing step
Slowly wet the skin with lukewarm water to soften the area around the pores.
Second cleansing step
Gently massage cleansing oil around the nose without excessive rubbing, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Soothe afterward
After cleansing, a cool mask or cotton pad dampened with toner around the nose may help soothe the skin.
2. Use blotting paper
Some believe blotting paper increases sebum production, but it can be useful for gently removing surface oil.
Lightly pressing shiny areas once or twice daily can reduce excess oil and may help prevent skin troubles.
Press only the areas that need it gently, rather than rubbing the skin hard.
3. Nose strips once or twice a week
When using a nose strip, soften the area with a warm towel, gently massage with cleansing oil, then apply the strip.
Overusing nose strips may make pores appear more prominent or irritate the skin during removal, so take care.
Soothe and moisturize after nose strips
Skin may feel dry or sensitive afterward. Use gentle skincare to soothe and moisturize it.
Avoid squeezing with your fingers
Even if blackheads feel particularly bothersome, avoid squeezing them by hand or rubbing hard.
Manual squeezing risks bacterial infection and irritation. Repeated extraction may make pores look larger or leave marks.
A basic skincare habit is to avoid frequent touching. Even clean hands can cause irritation, so minimize contact.
Consistent sebum care supports pore care
Blackheads are difficult to eliminate all at once, but gradual improvement may be possible with consistent care.
Because sebum management and pore care are connected, combine good cleansing habits, oil control and regular soothing care.
Find a routine that suits your skin and gradually work toward fewer blackhead concerns. That is all for today.
